Tha Maharaj Walking Tour - "Historical Routes -the Local Way!"

Starting Point

The walking tour meets every Saturday and Sunday at 10 am at Tha Maharaj (attached map link here) Look for a booth next to Starbucks with a guide wearing "Tha Maharaj" t-shirt. (View on Google Map)


This 2.5* hours walking tour covers the main historical routes of old town Bangkok, as well as hole-in-the-wall historic sights. On this tour, you will walk through small alleyways, visit Thai traditional medicine house, observe the craftsmanship of the  last Monk’s Bowl community in Thailand, and pay respect to 200 years old Brahmin temple.

The tour ends at Mahakan Fort, with many near-by restaurants and museums located within a short-walking distance.
